Men are governed by lines of intellect- women: by curves of emotion.

Sadie just said, "When you found Daddy and you thought he was a good human to marry and you married him, that's when you had long hair like I."

Skyler got an unsolicited Valentine from a Senior.  Also, she and Bryant have been so busy practicing for the Cultural Celebration for the Gilbert temple.  Skyler just got her driver's permit!

February in review for Sibley

Sibley had a great report card!  She made a pretty floral arrangement with Skyler's Valentine roses.  She finished her play "Dig It" at school.  She and Bryant went to a daddy-daughter dance.

Sadie decided to cut her hair.  I found it under my desk.  We had been talking about going to get her hair trimmed in a few days.  Also, we worked hard all day Saturday in the yard.  Bryant sprayed the weeds early in the morning.  In the evening they were starting to shrivel and he said, "The poison is already starting to work."  Then Sadie made a joke and said, "I didn't know poison had arms!".

Tecumseh

"Live your life so that the fear of death can never enter your heart...Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and in the service of your people...
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none. When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself...
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose lives are filled with the fear of death, so that when time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home."[47]

Sadie's self-portrait.
Note the detail in the bracelet and pleated skirt as well as the intricate frame.  The heart off to the side means "I love you."
