New Year's Eve Photos

Our neighbor down the street had a block party on New Year's. It was for kids and grown ups alike, complete with a bounce house, cotton candy machine, and fireworks. He also had this really cute little band. They ranged in age from 10-12 and they were good. They played a lot of Green Day songs and what not.

Our favorite Christmas gift...

We got a fire bowl for Christmas and we love it! Here are some random shots of us breaking it in and enjoying some smores. Thanks Santa! Mama Kitty likes it too, because now we spend more time outside with her and she gets to eat the food we drop on the ground...Score!

Dear Sadie,

Yay! I finally found a vegetable you will eat. You like green beans. You're almost ten months old and this is what's going on in your life:

You're cutting three teeth this week...two on the top and one on the bottom.
You're miserable, thus so are we.
You say "kitty." You like to look at Mama Kitty out the glass door. Y'all get along pretty well even though you try to pull her ears off her head and you yank her hair out.
You are very efficient at ripping tissues out of the tissue box. You can empty the whole entire box in no time flat. You also do this with the baby wipes. And you pull the Spanish Moss out of my indoor pots. And you pull the papers and cards out of my basket. You pretty much just empty everything. You're in to making messes these days.
You've started to venture up the stairs. You pull up on everything and you can stand alone for a few seconds. You're crawling very quickly. You also pick up everything off the floor and try to eat it.
Most importantly, you now have enough hair to hold a hairbow!

This is what I get for laying out in the sun in a bikini with no sunscreen...Precancerous mole removal from my stomach with stitches on the inside and out. One down, one to go.

Alfalfa Hair

Sadie Facts:

She gave me a kiss today for the first time.

She loves to wave at everyone and say "Hey." That was Skyler's first word too, besides Mama and Daddy of course.

I snapped this picture of her Alfalfa hair today. I love it.

I also love her long, straight Snuffaluffagus eyelashes.
