Dear Sadie,
You are 23 months old today and this is what you are up to:
-You make so many messes, huge messes everywhere you go. At least now you are trying to clean them up. As I type this, you are trying to clean nutella off the couch with a babywipe. Then you rub more nutella on and do it again. It's your m.o.
-You love to sing. Your latest favorite song is "We are a happy pamimy." You also love the Skibas. You make us put their names into your "Happy Pamimy" song. You hang out with the Skibas sometimes in the afternoon while I work.
-You love the little happy meal Build-a-Bear stuffed animals. I'll have to take you there soon, maybe for your birthday next month.
-At church on Sunday you pointed to a picture of the Last Supper and said, "Jesus...numnies." [Numnies is your word for yummies.] You love to go to "church crass."
-You look at the world in terms of the family unit. Everything is a mama and a daddy.
-We go for long walks almost every morning, during which you almost always fall asleep. When we pass the Skiba's house, you try to get out of your stroller and into their yard.
- You're very smart. You can work a smart phone and I can't.
-Not long ago you got your first hair cut and I love it!
-You are constantly taking your diaper off. It drives me CRAZY! I've tried everything to make you keep it on, even duct tape. Nothing works.
-You are constantly taking "ocks" and shoes on and off. It drives me SO CRAZY!
-You walk up and down the stairs like an adult now and it makes me so nervous that you're going to fall. I prefer you to slide down on your belly.
-You absolutely LOVE it when Ky or DubDub has a friend over.
